ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS

What is it?

Faces have various muscles to allow us to display our emotions. In our youth our skin is taut and any skin folds created by our facial muscles quickly disappear. As we age, our skin loses elasticity, meaning the folds don't disappear but leave unwanted lines and wrinkles, giving a tired, aged look.

There are 2 types of lines; dynamic lines that move with our muscles and static lines that do not move. Static lines depending on their depth can be more difficult to treat but can be reduced with other treatments. Botulinum toxin Type A (Botox) works exceptionally well on dynamic lines. Botulinum toxin Type A relaxes the muscles and puts them to sleep for up to 16 weeks. When injected into specific facial muscles, this will reduce contractions, diminish wrinkles and give a more youthful appearance.
